Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a worker in a factory. She was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her siblings. Stone was in second grade when she entered kindergarten when she was five. She earned a high school certificate at Saegertown which is located in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. She also competed at Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt relocated out of New Jersey to New Jersey to start a modelling career in 1977. They signed up for an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a few months. After spending a year living in Milan and Paris, Stone moved to Europe. Stone became dissatisfied with the fashion industry in Europe but decided to concentrate on acting. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," a film that received mixed receptions.
